What’s this? Finally some new news from Trump?
According to Trib architecture critic Blair Kamin, the Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago’s riverwalk and plaza should be finished by the end of the month.
Trump’s plans call for 90,000 square feet of retail space along the river, enough room for 20 stores and restaurants, by some accounts. There were rumors this time last year that The Donald was willing to rid himself of this space in exchange for as much as $130 million, but such a sale never occurred.
We haven’t turned our cameras toward the base of Trump lately, but the next time we’re down around 401 N Wabash Ave, we’ll make sure to get some shots of the riverwalk.
