Trump Tower moves to IBM sales center

Trump Living Room

Trump International Hotel & Tower, which is 75 percent sold, according to the sales staff, has new digs in the IBM Building. Koenig & Strey, which is marketing The Donald’s project, temporarily handled sales from the brokerage’s Michigan Avenue office when the sales center in the former Sun-Times building had closed but the new center had not yet opened. The new 5,000-square-foot space has a vignette model, with a typical living room, bedroom, master bathroom, kitchen and powder room — and views similar to those from the future Trump Tower.

Actually, Trump’s views should be better. The new sales center is on the 20th floor of IBM and Trump’s residential condos don’t start until the 29th floor (hotel units start on 17). The finishes are nothing to sneeze at — Snaidero, Sub-Zero, Miele, Air Bath, Brazilian hardwood — and neither are the prices, which run from the $810s to more than $8 million.
