Readers CgCg and intrepid design were thrilled with this Hanna Architects-designed three-flat at 1541 N Bosworth Ave when I posted about it in January.
A furnished model was staged in the second-floor unit, and it must have made an impression, because that home has sold, but the first-floor and top-floor units are still on the market.
To generate some more interest, earlier this week the developer cut the prices of those two remaining three-bedroom / two-bath homes by $20,000 each. The 1,700 square-foot first-floor duplex that was previously priced in the $510s is now priced in the $490s, and the 1,400 square-foot top-floor triplex that was previously priced in the $540s has been reduced to the $520s.
The MLS listings for both homes indicate that, “developer ready to break ground on new green project.” Prudential Preferred agent Bette Bleeker wasn’t sure of the exact details for the planned development when I spoke with her yesterday, but she said it would probably be another three-flat located in nearby Bucktown.
