EnV recently circulated a “hot sheet” to brokers offering two months’ free rent on 12-month leases on selected one-bedroom apartments.
This is one of the very few two-months-free offers we’ve seen recently. Is it a sign of a softening market, or just an adjustment of EnV’s rents to market levels?
I’ve heard nothing but bad reviews on EnV since it opened so that could also be a reason for the free rent offerings. Also, they charge some of the highest rental rates in the city so if their product is subpar then you better believe they’ll be losing tenants considering all the recent and soon to come competition.
