Two units available in renovated Ravenswood building

1625 W. AinslieTwo of 1625 W. Ainslie’s newly rehabbed condos are still for sale, according to Lisa Cohen, of Jameson Realty Group.

The 94-year-old building at the corner of Ainslie and Paulina comprises eight units renovated by architect Jeffrey Funke, who’s also working with Jameson Realty on the Baer Lofts conversion in Bucktown, Cohen said. The two units are a 1,100-square-foot first-floor condo in the $290s and a 900-square-foot garden condo priced in the $220s. Both have two bedrooms, two baths, hardwood floors, granite counters, 42-inch cabinets and floor-to-ceiling granite-and-slate bathrooms. No incentives are being offered for either unit, Cohen said.

The tree-lined street is located near the border of Ravenswood and Uptown and is a short walk away from Andersonville and Lincoln Square. Buyers have snatched up all of the building’s available parking, Cohen said, but street parking didn’t seem to pose much of a problem during our short stop by the building.
