I was in love with the DePaul / Sheffield area before I first moved there in 1979. Some of its side streets are still lovely, but insensitive developers and blind architects have done much to degrade its commercial arteries.
Mike Supera and George Pappageorge deserve special recognition for these surpassingly ugly (in context) creations at the east and west ends of Armitage Ave in DePaul.
