Unit #4610 is a one-of-a-kind condo at 235 Van Buren. With 2,272 square feet of interior space split between two floors, two west-facing balconies, and a 1,400 square-foot private terrace with panoramic views from the northwest to southeast, its far and away the tower’s biggest unit. At $995,900, it’s also the building’s most expensive unit.

Yesterday I toured several of 235 Van Buren’s penthouses with CMK Realty‘s managing broker, Scott Hoskins. This was the last unit we visited, but for obvious reasons it’s the first one I wanted to share. After all, how many other condos have you seen whose showers have floor-to-ceiling exposures with city views?

  • FYI, you get a 404 Page Not Found error when you click on the floor plan.

  • I like this building, and kudos to you for allowing me to tour the penthouse. The outdoor space is fabulous.

What is the reason for the second entrance/exit on the top level? Is it a code issue? The top entrance narrow hallway seems like such a waste of prime square footage.
