Urban Green Project tackles a Chicago two-flat

Green Grumbles, the blog for the Urban Green Project, has a batch of new entries this week. The site chronicles the transformation of a more than 100-year-old Chicago two-flat into a living and working space for graphic designer Lisa Wright and photographer Brian Warling, who are married with two kids. Warling discusses the challenges to green building in Chicago (for example, he says there are no “LEED for Home Providers” here), the green virtues of selling your stuff on Ebay and their decision to take on the job of general contractor themselves.
