A week ago, I wrote about a large multi-phase development under construction at the northern tip of Humboldt Park. This week, I came across another large project that’s being built just to the south of the park. Construction is now underway on the second phase of Urban Meadows, MTV Properties’ 32-unit condo development spanning eight buildings at 3118 – 3132 W Walton St in Humboldt Park.
The development’s first phase, which is located at 3118 – 3124 W Walton St, is already completed, and half of the 16 homes from the first phase are still available, according to agent Cheryl Reimer of North Clybourn Group. The two- and three-bedroom condos are priced from the $200s to the $300s, and several of the homes come with private roof decks.
Parking is included with second-, third- and fourth-floor units, but for the first-floor units, which are priced lower, parking is offered for $10,000.
The remaining homes in Urban Meadows’ first phase can be ready for delivery in 30 to 90 days, Reimer says.
Reimer says the shells of the buildings have been built in Phase 2, which is located at 3126 – 3132 W Walton St, but they haven’t been built out yet. Those homes will be similar to those in Urban Meadows’ first phase, but North Clybourn hasn’t begun marketing them, and Reimer didn’t have any pricing information on those homes when I spoke with her.
