Some residents of Marina City, the famous “corncob” towers designed by Bertrand Goldberg, have put together a Web site that aims to provide comprehensive information about the iconic buildings (thanks to Mike Doyle, at the blog Chicago Carless, for pointing it out). Perhaps the site’s coolest feature is a 1965 video about the creation of Marina City, which chronicles the rise of the twin structures from their foundations up, and even offers a glimpse of the ’60s-era interiors.
