Following our stroll along West Barry Avenue in Lake View, we also trekked to the 2800 block of Halsted to check out the condos at 2852 N Halsted St and Halsted Row. On our way to the car, we noticed new condos at 833 W George St as well. Watch the video here or on YouTube.
how far Halsted has come. I vividly recall a good month in about 85 or 86 waiting for the 8 Halsted every morning, where there was an old VW Carmen Ghilla (sp?)literally wrapped around a street light pole. Every day, another ticket, but nobody every towed the car. It got to be a bit of a running joke, as one might imagine, as it started to look like a computer completely plastered with post-it notes.
There is one unit left at 2852 N Halsted. 5 units (including the retail) are sold and only the Penthouse South units remains.
