We love lists: Green developments

Fountain View

If you’ve noticed that word “green” cropping up more than normal around here, it’s no coincidence. For the past day, I’ve been sifting through our NewHomeNotebook.com database and putting together a master list of all active developments that bill themselves as eco-friendly.

Several projects that made it on the green developments list find themselves on another list: “high-rise dustbunnies,” which lists all planned high-rises that are yet to get off the ground and are at risk of biting the dust. Among the green developments that find themselves on that rather inauspicious list are Solstice on the Park, Eco18 and 9 West Erie. If we had a dustbunny list to cover mid- and low-rise developments (which I’m sure we will in the near term), a few more green developments might be added to it, including Deming on the Green, Living Green Lofts and EcoLogic Lofts.

Got a green development that didn’t make it on the list? Tell us about it. These lists are works in progress, and developments can always be added or subtracted.
