A lot of developments on the northern end of River North are marketed as Gold Coast residences. Some come close: Ten East Delaware, The Elysian, Walton on the Park and 50 East Chestnut are all a stone’s throw away from the Gold Coast’s southern border. Others, like the never-built Huron, tried to stretch the neighborhoods boundaries as far away as Huron Street.
But it takes more than a hefty price tag to join the Gold Coast club — you have to have the right address, too. NewHomeNotebook has listings for just two converted high-rises and one new-construction townhouse development located inside the boundaries of Lake Michigan, North Avenue, and Clark and Oak streets.
