While I was looking at the homes in Irving Park last week, I took a brief detour to check out new developments in Old Irving Park, which is bordered by Montrose Avenue, Pulaski Road, Addison Street and Cicero Avenue.
For the Old Irving Park home buyer, there’s a pretty even mix of condo conversions and single-family home developments, but the only new-construction development I found is a seven-unit development located at 4504 W Irving Park Rd. CA Development is building two large single-family home developments – Village Homes and Mayfair Crossing – which are located along Kilbourn and Kilpatrick avenues, and I came across two large courtyard conversions.
Commuting via Metra seems like a good option for residents of Old Irving Place and Mayfair Crossing, each of which are located less than a block from either the nearest station.
