This is the third week we’ve recorded the number of condo rental listings from 14 Chicago ZIP codes, and already we notice a trend: Since November 27, the overall number of condos for rent has decreased by almost 100. According to one real estate observer we talked to, this fits the natural ebbs and flows of the real estate market, as home owners opt to take their homes off the MLS as the holidays approach.
We’ve put together a spreadsheet of condo rental numbers through our Google Docs account and will continue to update it every Friday.
