If you’ve never rented a condo before you might be in for a series of rude shocks: unexpected delays, hefty fees, gotcha pet policies and page after page of rules and regulations.
Two years ago I sat down with Tim Brent of Chicago Apartments & Condos to talk about condo rentals. Tim’s a 20-year veteran of the apartment rental industry, and familiar with the highly-individualized requirements of different condo complexes.
Note that some of the discussion in the video about tenant rights in foreclosure is out of date: in most circumstances, tenants are able to stay through the end of their lease or for up to 90 days on a month-to-month lease.
