What’s selling in Wicker Park’s single-family market?

The first quarter of 2011 ends in a couple of weeks, at which point Realtors will begin poring over sales data for signs where the market stands going into the spring and summer selling seasons. On Friday Eric Rojas and I took a quick look at two homes that will probably represent the median and high price points in Wicker Park’s single-family homes market for the quarter: an updated workers cottage on Crystal under contract for just under $700,000, and a renovated home with coach house on a deep lot on Evergreen, under contract for $1.6 million.

Eric and I were in the neighborhood to tour one of his new listings, a duplex-down on Wolcott, just north of Division Street. Keep an eye out for our video tour through that home in the next day.
