When death spells opportunity

A doorman called a real estate agent I know to tell her there was a listing coming available in a coveted tier in the building. The occupant had just died, and was still in the building.

A managing broker told me, years ago, that agent funerals were a great venue for soliciting agents to join her office. Agents attending the funeral would be thinking about life’s changes, and in an emotionally vulnerable state.
