The apartment tower / hotel under construction (center, crane in photo) at 435 North Park Drive in Streeterville will host 398 apartments and 400 hotel rooms.
The building will top out at 55 stories and 625 feet in height when it’s completed next year. It’s currently at less than half that height, but already asserting a strong presence when viewed from the Chicago River at Clark St.
Does the fact that 435 is partially obscuring views of 474 N Lake Shore Dr and Lake Point Tower from the river mean that it will obscure the views of the river from some tiers in those buildings?
