Wine dinner at Evanston's Stained Glass

The Stained Glass restaurant in Evanston (1735 Benson Ave., 847-864-8600) is hosting a unique wine dinner on Tuesday, May 16, featuring the wines of Ceja Vineyards of Napa Valley, Calif. It’s unique because Ceja is the first Mexican-owned winery in California.

Dinner starts at 7 p.m., and the cost is $85 per person, which includes five courses of American cuisine by chef Victor Hernandez paired with five wines from Ceja (chardonnay, pinot noir, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and syrah).

Ceja Vineyards owner Amelia Ceja also will lead an open discussion about the wines.
