Work has come a long way on Sutherland Pearsall‘s Boulevard Townhomes, located at 3993 S Drexel Blvd in North Kenwood – Oakland, since we stopped by in July (pictured at left). Two townhomes remain at the eight-unit development, and prices start in the $430s.

You don’t have to wait. Head on over there. Look around – you’re looking at pretty much what it will look like in 10 to 15 years.
There simply isn’t enough purchasing power to move this area very quickly – and 10 years is quick.

For people who live in Chicago and see its neighborhoods day to day, things may seem ho-hum.
Trust me, when you only get to come into town once a year, it seems like things change by mini leaps and bounds. I’d guess that many blocks of Bronzeville in 2022 will look quite more filled in than they do now

Others – not so much.
When you only get to town once a year it’s possible to believe that more is happening than is actually happening.
