After recently wondering whether The Arches at Oakwood Shores will some day be known as the neighborhood Oakwood Shores, we headed down to the development site to take a peek at how construction is coming along. The Arches at Oakwood Shores will be 3,000 units of mixed-income housing, centered around Cottage Grove Avenue and the newly created East 38th Place.
It was easy to be taken by the amount of work yet to be done on the project (the buildings above will eventually look out onto a wide swath of grass), but we were most interested in the details of the completed buildings (more photos after the jump).
