The Tribune reported in late June that Wrigley chair Bill Wrigley Jr was taking a new approach to selling 12,120 square feet of raw penthouse space in the Gold Coast, the highest priced residential listing in all of Chicago. Instead of trying to unload the whole thing at a desired price of $14 million, he’s open to splitting the space up into three units, which is just the way he bought it.
Jim Kinney, Baird & Warner‘s Vice President of Luxury Home Sales, has listed two of the three eighth-floor units at 65 E Goethe St for $6 million and $5 million. The former is described as a 3,644 space with a 1,500 square-foot roof terrace, two parking spaces, and views to the south, east, and west; the latter has 5,466 square feet, two parking spaces, 11-foot ceiling heights, a fireplace, and views to the north, east, and west.
