YoChicago's Ashland Adventure, Part 2: Vision and Lincoln Park Lofts

The part of Ashland Avenue that stretches from the East Village up into the southern edge of Lincoln Park lacks the kind of six-flat construction Mark and I saw around Chicago Avenue and will see in future Ashland Adventure segments in Lake View. However, from Ashland we could catch glimpses of two large condo developments, one that’s nearing completion but still not being marketed, and another that went into foreclosure in 2007 and appears neglected.

The former, RDM Development‘s Vision at 1624 W Division St, has some new red details above its balconies, but exterior work still hasn’t wrapped, and there’s no word whatsoever on when or if homes there will go on the market. The latter, the Lincoln Park Lofts at 1610 W Fullerton Ave, has shifted from broker to broker since becoming a bank-owned property; Jameson had taken over marketing in March but no longer advertises the project on its Web site, and the only listings within the building are from Rubloff.
