More than 300 condos have closed at 235 Van Buren, including 48 in the first quarter of 2010, and almost all of the buyers taking advantage of the recent federal homebuyer tax credits have been able to finalize their purchases, says Scott Hoskins, managing broker for CMK Realty.
CMK is currently offering studios at the 46-story, 714-unit high-rise starting in the $170s. One-bedrooms are priced from the $190s, and two-bedrooms start in the $250s. Information on buyer incentives is available upon request.
Two furnished penthouses will soon join the building’s 19 existing models, open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from noon to 5 p.m.
235 Van Buren, located at 235 W Van Buren St in the Loop, features 12,000 square feet of commercial space, a dog run, a 24-hour door staff, six high-speed elevators, and a lobby with a 25-foot-tall ceiling and slate, stainless steel and German glass finishes.
