Ukrainian Village is known for its large landmark district with its tidy brick two-flats and workers’ cottages, so Ranquist Development’s modern condo project stands out on the 900 block of Wolcott Avenue. The development, which sold out a couple of years ago, is nicely set back from the street. Materials include glass, block, aluminum and flagstone. Yo was a little surprised to see these two buildings when we wandered down Wolcott the other day, but perhaps they are a nice change from all the faux historic single-family homes being built.
