In response to Stokes’ request, here’s a quick construction update on RPL Real Estate‘s new condo development at 2668 N Halsted St in Lake View. I happened to pass by that stretch of Halsted earlier in the week, so I took a moment to get some fresh photos. I didn’t see anyone working on the building when I was there, but it looks like most of the structural and exterior work is finished.
As for sales, it has always been pretty difficult to get in touch with RPL, and I haven’t had any better luck this afternoon. The RPL Web site still advertises “One free parking space to 1st purchaser!!”
As it did before, the Web site says this building will have 16 two-bedroom / two-bath condos that are priced from the $480s to the $520s. I haven’t found any listings in this building on the MLS, so I’m not sure how they’re actually marketing these homes. If I find out anything else about this development, I’ll be sure to post it.
