This six-unit new-construction condo building at 5771 N Ridge Ave in Edgewater has been on the market since the beginning of 2008, and still none of the homes have been sold, so now the developer is renting some of them out. However, for those that are still interested, the option to buy remains open.
The six units in the development include four three-bedroom / three-bath duplexes and two single-floor units with three bedrooms and two baths each. According to the MLS, units range from 1,750 to 2,600 square feet.
Rob Bermes from Century 21 SGR says prices for the condos range from the $390s to the low $500s. In addition to for-sale listings, the MLS also has listings for five rental units that range from $1,800 to $2,300 per month. One of the first-floor duplexes has already been rented.
