Every so often I dip into YoChicago’s extensive library of stock footage to take you on a drive through the North Shore and north suburbs, pausing for a look at what has sold recently and what’s currently for sale.
There’s a three-block stretch of Park Place in Evanston that has broad setbacks, ancient trees and mature landscaping that lend it a lush parkway feel. The area’s just south of Wilmette and just north of the shops, restaurants and Metra stop on Central Street — one of my favorite North Shore neighborhoods. It’s popular with young families because of the schools, the location, and proximity to a Metra stop.
