Some things about Sandburg Village are unchanged during the 30-year span since its conversion to condos.
The landscaping is still lush, the amenities are still extensive, the location is still one of the best in the city, and the views are better than ever.
What has changed is the interior of many of the units. The vinyl tile floors have given way to hardwood; the kitchens have been opened up and Formica countertops replaced with granite, and pedestrian baths have been brought up to a high standard.
Prudential Rubloff’s Blanche Murges shows me around a 2-bedroom corner unit that was recently redone. Blanche has officed in and sold real estate at Sandburg during its entire life as a condo complex.
