An inside look at outsider art: Intuit's 2007 house tours

We’re shameless real estate voyeurs here at YoChicago, so we couldn’t resist pointing out what look like some of the coolest house tours in the city. Intuit, the center for outsider art, will conduct tours of private collections this spring. The first of these took place March 7, but there are four more on tap, including, on March 27, a chance to tour the home of Marc and Tracy Whitehead, who live in a two-story condo in the Aztec building (built in about 1910). Besides their collection of 18th and 19th century American folk art, you’ll be able to ogle the “original moldings, tiles, fireplaces and cabinets.”
