“History repeats itself with modern elegance,” reads a promotional brochure for the McGill Parc Townhomes, attempting to reconcile that Medieval castle with the new townhouses that surround it.
If those townhouses reflect the castle in any way, it’s in their sheer size. There are currently eight four-bedroom townhouses available in this Kenwood development that range in size from 2,800 to 3,600 square feet, according to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage listings. The smaller townhouses have 3.5 baths (as in the floor plan below), and the larger ones have four.
The strange thing about this floor plan is that although each of the townhouses is supposed to have four bedrooms, I only count two. In place of the other bedrooms, there are two family rooms, a living room and a den – sounds like somebody’s going to be crashing on the couch.
The three-story townhouses also feature terraces and balconies and come with private two-car garages. Prices for the McGill Parc Townhomes start in the $490s and top out in the $650s for the largest units.
