A post in a discussion forum at Craigslist alerts us to the formation of the “West Bucktown Neighborhood Association.”
The post relates a debate among the “natives and invading species” as to whether West Bucktown exists, and contends that the Realtors will prevail, i.e. the name will stick.
Where is West Bucktown? And why are Realtors so afraid of calling it by its current neighborhood name(s)? Who wants to live in a place that has such a cheesy Web site? Oh, and if the organization’s a 501(c)(3) charity, as it claims, how come the IRS doesn’t know that?
