When I first moved to Wilmette in 1988 we lived on 11th Street, just north of Central, in downtown Wilmette.
I’d often walk the block west of our home with my son Jordan and my daughter Valerie.
Earlier today Jordan and I took a walk down Central Street, reminiscing about the block and noting how little it’s changed. We close with Jordan’s take on what it was like to be a young kid growing up in Wilmette.
