Yeah, it looks like a giant storm cloud is rollin’ over BLU 44 in the rendering, but we guess it makes sense when you consider marketer Rubloff is trying to align the development with Chicago’s most significant musical export — the blues. Located at 4450 S Saint Lawrence Ave in Grand Boulevard, home to the city’s official Blues District, BLU 44 has eight condos divided between two masonry buildings with some nice green space in between. The three-bedroom units have stainless steel appliances, granite kitchens, stone or porcelain bathrooms and private balconies or patios. Another feature: “security cameras for each unit.” What do yo’all think? Does the mention of security cameras assure potential buyers that no riffraff will be rollin’ and tumblin’ outside their homes, or does it alert them that the neighborhood might be unsafe?
