This week’s Carnival of Real Estate is hosted by Active Rain. The “winner” of the week was a post breaking down the lifespan of a long-term real estate investment– from buying land in “a small town that’s surrounded by natural beauty” all the way through to selling it in a town that has since become overrun with big box stores and cookie-cutter tract housing. In the process, the post also broke down my spirit considerably.
The carnival also points us to an interesting post that likens a real estate transaction to the performance of a play (thanks for breaking it down for the right-brainers!), a $1 listing in Highland Park and a whole bunch of talk about Zillow.
