To lure more admirers, the developer, Creative Designs Builders, is offering a series of incentives on the ’20s-era high-rise, located at 5346 S Cornell Ave.
Buyers who purchase before Thanksgiving can get a $3,000 cash gift at closing, a $1,000 decorating credit or 1.5 percent of the purchase price toward closing costs. Buyers who close on their units before Thanksgiving get a free 42-inch plasma TV.
Other deals are available exclusively for buyers affiliated with the nearby University of Chicago. Qualified employees can get $7,500 for down-payment assistance, as well as other perks. A series of incentives are also available for Chicago Public Schools employees, including 100 percent financing.
If you’d like a look inside Silver Cloud, Century 21 Sussex & Reilly will host a reception on site Thursday, Nov 8, from 4 to 8 pm – a chance to drink a glass of wine and munch on hors d’oeuvres while checking out the three furnished models.
Sussex & Reilly took over the marketing on the project Oct 4. So far, 21 of its 72 units have sold, according to Elizabeth Conway, advertising coordinator for Sussex & Reilly. Prices start in the $230s.
