These days, it seems like every second high-rise in downtown Chicago has a green roof. That’s great, as green roofs are not only eco-friendly, but wonderful stress-busters for Loop-pocked high-rise dwellers. But some developers aren’t installing the green roofs correctly, and condo buyers are paying the price, according to home inspector Tom Corbett in his column for the August edition of New Homes magazine.
