Up in St Ben’s a couple of days ago, I was photographing Westward Development’s Cityscape Condominiums on the 3900 block of Western Avenue, when I noticed these chess players at the construction site. As far as labor unrest is concerned, these carpenters seem like pretty easygoing strikers, and they declined even tell me what the dispute was over.
Needless to say, the construction site was pretty quiet. As Joe wrote a couple of weeks ago, four of the six buildings in this 42-unit development have been completed, and the final two are supposed to be under construction now.
