In terms of both location and construction progress of the three high-rises that are currently under construction along State Street, between Delaware and Walton in River North, Ten East Delaware is right in the middle. It’s sandwiched between the 60-story Elysian Hotel and Private Residences to the north and Walton on the Park to the west, and while Elysian is nearly topped off and Walton on the Park is still in an embryonic state, Ten East Delaware is nearing the halfway point.
D. Waveland Kendt from @properties says that construction workers just poured the 15th floor of the 35-story high-rise, and he says construction is moving along swimmingly. Kendt is also upbeat about sales, although he doesn’t offer any solid numbers.
Prices for the remaining homes in Ten East Delaware range from the $550s to $2.5 million. Construction on the building will be completed and first deliveries will begin one year from now, according to Kendt, in December 2009.
