From many points in the Gold Coast, River North and Streeterville, The Elysian Hotel and Private Residences at 11 E Walton Pl can be seen poking up above the surrounding buildings, as 51 of the 60 floors are now in place. Sales agent Caryl Dillon says buyers are beginning to notice and show up at the sales center.
Dillon says there are eight half-floor residences remaining, which is the same number Joe reported back in March. Those homes are priced from just under $3 million to about $5 million. Dillon says 57 of the 188 hotel condos are still available, which is just about 70 percent, and those are priced from the low $600s to the $950s.
Regarding retail and dining, Dillon says chef Charlie Trotter will oversee the restaurants, and it was recently announced that Marc Jacobs will be the anchor tenant at the retail space on the corner of Rush Street and Walton Place.
