There’s a big hole in the ground at 1624 W Division St, just west of the intersection of Division and Ashland and across the street from the neighborhood’s post office.
RDM Development broke ground on the 33-home Vision on January 15 and plan to have the building ready for first deliveries in the summer or fall of 2009. Its two- and three-bedroom units will range in size from 1,336 to 2,000 square feet and in price from the $440s to the $590s.
As I reported last month, buyers at Vision have two choices of finishes: a modern, concrete-and-stone package, and a traditional package featuring marble and hardwood.
Reader jeff thought RDM’s design resembled a motel. Since that post, I’ve come across a much larger rendering of the project. Any new thoughts now that you can see it up close?
