Developments along West Belmont Avenue

The Belle Terre

The wave of residential development along West Belmont Avenue has extended west to the 2100 – 2300 blocks, between North Damen and North Western avenues. This stretch isn’t as desolate as some other major thoroughfares we’ve posted on. Among the thriving businesses on the strip: Night & Day Vintage, Morgan’s Dogs Training Facility, Starbucks and Miska’s Liquors and Deli.

If you’re looking for a new condo on these blocks, here are some of your options:

  • If you’re looking for new construction, a top-floor unit is still available at the three-unit 2111 W Belmont Ave, says Josh Feeney, a sales agent with The Lowe Group, which is marketing the Sestine Development project. The condo has three bedrooms and two baths and about 1,650 square feet. It’s priced at $489,900. Features include granite counters, stainless steel kitchen appliances, marble baths, two private decks and garage parking.
  • A few feet away, 2153 W Belmont Ave has three three-bedroom two-bath units starting in the upper $300s. There is one commercial space on the ground floor. When we walked by it last week, it looked like it wasn’t rented out yet.
  • The Belle Terre, 2221 W Belmont Ave, has 12 new-construction units with three bedrooms, two baths and private terraces. Prices start in the $460s.
