Innovative Dutch architect Winka Dubbeldam will present a lecture entitled “From HardWare to SoftForm” at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7 at The Art Institute of Chicago. As we mentioned earlier this week, the museum has free admission until Feb. 21, and admission to the lecture, which is sponsored in part by Chicago Women in Architecture, is also free. Dubbeldam is principal of Archi-Tectonics, a New York City-based firm specializing in hybrid materials, smart building systems and movable space.
