Not many city developments can claim a forest preserve as an amenity, but CA Development‘s single-family community Edgebrook Glen backs up to Edgebrook Woods and both The Edgebrook and Billy Caldwell golf courses. Nearby biking and walking paths also lead all the way to the Chicago Botanic Garden, according to CA. The development definitely wears its arboreal pride on its sleeve with home models named “maple,” “pine,” “oak” and “chestnut” (pictured).

Edgebrook Glen, located at 5200 W Armstrong Ave, has 64 single-family homes with four to six bedrooms and attached, two-car garages (rear-loading, we assume). Prices start in the $680s.
