If you’re jonesing for a closer look at Emerald, the pair of eco-friendly towers under construction in in the West Loop, a promotional event on Tuesday, Oct 16 is offering “hard-hat tours” of the project. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served, and guests can enter a drawing for an electric scooter, one of several incentives we posted on awhile back. McGrath Lexus of Chicago will also be on hand to hawk the LS 600hL, which has a hybrid V8 engine.
The event will be held at Emerald’s sales center, at 120 S Halsted St (RSVP by the end of the day today to lexus @ emeraldchicago .com). McGrath Lexus of Chicago and First Point Residential Communications are sponsoring the event along with the developers, Senco Development, Harlem Irving Companies and New Frontier Companies.
The project, underway at 123 S Green St, comprises 212 condos in twin 12-story towers. Last we checked, it was more than 70 percent sold. First deliveries are scheduled for spring 2008.
