Empty sites hold the future of Prairie Avenue in South Loop

It may not look it now, but this old building and parking lot on a sleepy stretch of Prairie Ave will someday soon be the home of Lucien Lagrange’s highly anticipated X / O Condominiums towers. Across the street, at 1621 S Prairie Ave, sits the site of 1600 Museum Park, a 31-story glass condo tower. And a little farther down the street, an empty corner lot — formerly the site of a metal fabricating facility — will host the nine-story Prairie 2100 condo building. See the sites inside.
