Vision on State, 1255 S State St, is no longer just a vision. The 19-story condo building is nearly finished, and the first owners are expected to move in by the end of the month, says Sam Memeti, a sales agent with RE/MAX Team 2000, which is marketing the project.
The building can be a little imposing despite that fact that at 19 stories, it’s a dwarf compared to nearby developments like the 46-story Columbian, 1160 S Michigan Ave. About 35 to 40 of Vision on State’s 240 condos remain for sale, Memeti says, priced from the $270s to the $400s.
The building sits in an increasingly busy spot, between State Street and the elevated train tracks on Wabash, around the corner from the Roosevelt el stop.
