A lot of readers find their way to YoChicago in their search for info on the Kopley Group‘s Lofts at 1800, at 1800 W Grace St in North Center. It’s not a development we write about often, but it’s one that’s had some success in 2010, racking up more than 30 sales in 2010 alone and no fewer than 44 since closings began one year ago. Another 18 are under contract, according to Redfin.
Among the 11 one-bedrooms and seven two-bedrooms still listed at the Lofts at 1800 are a couple of units that are close in size but differ quite a bit in layout. The 1,197 square-foot unit 426 (above) has one bedroom (with a partial height wall, from the looks of it), an en suite master bath and a second bath across the hall, an 11-6″ x 6-2″ den, and an east-facing balcony.
The 1,222 square-foot unit 101 (below) has a master suite and a second bedroom arranged in a split floor plan, and a second bath immediately off the foyer. Both bedrooms appear to have windows, so they may well be fully enclosed rooms without partial-height walls. 01-tier units on the second and third floors have balconies, but there’s no indication this ground-floor unit comes with any private outdoor space of its own.
