We told you a few weeks ago about the developers who are trying to re-brand the southern part of the South Loop as “River South.” We’ve just spotted the first strategic implantation of the name: an editorial in this month’s Chicago Social refers to several Loop and South Loop real estate ventures, casually referring to one as being “in the River South neighborhood.” Hmmm, wonder how the fact-checker verified that one?
